ABOUT MANSFIELD PALS:
The mission of Mansfield PALS is to serve as a village for parents and families and to create a space that supports kids in their development, as if they were our own.

As parents ourselves, we know how important a village is to raising children, and in many ways, our business is really about creating community. We believe when parents are supported, families are strong and kids will thrive. Each member of the Mansfield PALS team supports this, playing a central role in bringing to life the type of daycare and community we believe every child and family deserves.

Foundational to achieving our mission is to provide high-quality, full-time childcare. Mansfield PALS is a ~50 student daycare center established in 2022 by Kevin and Amy McIsaac, who are deeply passionate about the vision outlined above. Kevin has a background in corporate finance, Amy has a background in public service, and together, they have three young children.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Toddler Teacher will serve as a critical member of the team, and given where the business is in its development, Teachers have a unique opportunity to shape the business and culture to their ideal place to work!

Responsibilities:
*Tracking and informing parents of students' progress
*Encouraging self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement
*Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for children to learn, play and grow that is conducive to learning
*Develop and implement curriculum for students to facilitate social, emotional, and cognitive development
*Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and in-person discussions
*Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement
*Build relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen simultaneously and seamlessly

Requirements and Attributes:
*A passion for children and their healthy, safe, and age-appropriate development
*MA EEC Teaching Certification (required)
*Prior experience working with young children, preferably within a similar setting
*Clear background check/no criminal record
*Ability to attend monthly staff meetings, held outside of business hours, as required by EEC
*A warm, positive personality; playful and silly personality is a plus!
*Excellent problem-solving skills
*Commitment and dedication to Mansfield PALS’s mission and vision

We are building a hard-working, fun-loving, and thoughtful culture with high attention to quality and relationships.

Hours:
Mansfield PALS is open between 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday through Friday. The Teacher role is a 35-40-hour per week position.
