In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. Wondercamp

An action-packed summer for children (ages 2 to 12). Our exciting Wonder Weeks include topics and activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination. We serve healthy food, play outside daily, and take field trips too! Parents will love our app with live streaming video and photo highlights.

School-Age Childcare Program

We provide age-appropriate toys and group snack times, but we focus on intent—encouraging them to explore their own interests rather than just staying busy. Whether they’re joining the group or requesting one-on-one time for a craft, they are always supported and seen.

Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. The Learning Experience Summer of Happiness in Gurnee offers fun for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years with STEAM activities, water play, outdoor games, and engaging experiences in a safe, nurturing environment.

Reading Program (3-5)

The Kumon Reading Program starts your pre-readers off with fun “look, listen and repeat” worksheets. Colorful illustrations help connect words to familiar objects, to start putting words together. Your child will progress to identify nouns, verbs and adjectives, and use them within sentences.

Reading Program (6-12)

A love of reading begins begins with a strong foundation developed at Kumon. The worksheets can propel your child on a lifelong reading journey, where improved vocabulary, grammar, comprehension and interpretation become an asset throughout school, and beyond.

A small licensed home day care. I am licensed for 8 but care for 5 or 6 children ages from infant to kindergarten. I've been doing child care in my home since 2002. I love to do activities/crafts/preschool with the children. We also do play based learning and plenty of outdoor play.
