Parent Reviews
If you are looking for a place with competent, patient, and very empathetic teachers for your child, this is the place. Our daughter loves all her teachers and friends here. She talks about them all the time. Frankly, switching from an in-home day care to a robust facility such as this was a big shift for my daughter. She had a lot of hesitancy at first and for a very long time. But, as time passes, I have witnessed how she thrives under the care here. Not only is she more confident, she is learning to be more assertive, like speaking her mind and asserting some toddler-ish leadership among her friends. Hilarious to hear and see, but I don't think she'd ever be able to achieve that in the other facility. Last thing to mention is the facility itself. It's bright, clean, and very spacious. The vibe that it's giving is the top reason why we chose this place for our daughter. Clearly, it's the best decision that my husband and I have made for my little!
I cannot say enough positive things about this school. The teachers are incredible. They give individualized feedback for each student, track progress/milestones, and consistently communicate with parents via Transparent Classroom. They truly live by the Montessori method. The school is expertly managed by the Head of School who is always striving for improvement and cultivating a positive culture not just for staff, but also for fellow families.
I cannot recommend Guidepost Montessori Deerbrook enough! After moving to the suburbs in May of 2021, I needed childcare for my now 5 year old & 3 year old (2.5 years and newborn at the time). I looked into several childcare options to find somewhere that fit our needs, and Guidepost instantly felt like the right place. The facility is clean, spacious, and beautiful, the administrators and teachers are amazing, and the hours/days of operation can't be beat. It is such a warm, welcoming community of families and staff, and my kids are thriving. We have been in all of the classrooms over the past 3 years (Nido, Young Toddler, Toddler, Children's House) and have had a great experience with each. The teachers and admin truly know and love my kids, which makes it easier for me to go to work every day. We are so happy to be part of the Guidepost family!
