We can't speak highly enough of Bilingual Rock Immersion School and the teachers who run it. Our children have just completed a year in their preschool room, including a portion of the summer program. Our priority was the Chinese immersion, given our cultural heritage. In researching Mandarin language programs, we could not find anything similar in the Northwest Suburbs; the closest are half-day programs that are weekends-only. The school founder and director, Mrs. Lin, truly cares about each student. She provides regular updates in-person, over the mobile app, and email to the parents. The amount of culturally significant events Mrs. Lin and the staff organize (e.g., Lunar New Year) outside of the school day also speak to the commitment the school has to enriching its students and involving their families. We look forward to the upcoming school year!

We absolutely love this daycare! My daughter started here when she was 2 years old. At first, we tried Bright Horizons at deer park because it’s a big brand, but we weren’t satisfied — she often came home dirty, and the teachers didn’t seem very attentive. Everything changed after we switched to this school. The teachers here are incredibly patient, caring, and truly love children. My daughter adapted so quickly and is excited to go to school every single day. The teachers are responsible and communicate with us promptly whenever there’s anything we should know. We can really feel that she is well cared for. The curriculum is also very rich — she has learned many songs, crafts, sports activities, numbers, and so much more. We especially love that she gets exposure to both Chinese and English. Her ability to express herself has improved a lot. This is a place where parents can feel genuinely confident and at ease. We are so grateful for the teachers and highly recommend this daycare!

My daughter joined the 3-month summer camp at Bilingual Rock Immersion School in 2025, and she absolutely loved it! She learned so much — counting, speaking Mandarin, recognizing Chinese characters, and even practicing “being a teacher” in front of the class. She came home singing lots of Chinese songs and talking about what she learned every day. I also love that she picked up great habits, like washing her hands as soon as she arrived. The themed days were super fun — Water Splash Tuesday and Bike Friday were her favorites! The teachers are warm and caring, and the environment is full of energy and learning. Highly recommend this camp for kids who want to have fun while learning Mandarin!

We couldn't be more pleased. We were so fortunate that the school was within driving distance - the only other one in the greater Chicagoland area we came across was in Chicago itself. It's a 15 minute drive, and there are plenty of other standard daycares that are closer, but we wouldn't change the school for the world. Our child started there at 2.5 years old and within a single year, he was fluent in Mandarin. We are so happy. And language skill, while very important to us, is only one of the key benefits we derive from our child's attendance there. The staff are so attentive to the children and highly communicative with the parents. It's been a joy and we plan to keep our child there for as long as we can.
