In our Preschool classroom, children start their journeys into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting. At The Goddard School®, we recognize that classrooms are made up of many unique children and teachers work to create engaging, innovative, play-based lessons with the interests and needs of every child in mind. Through the power of asking a question, your child will learn how to seek answers and advocate for themselves in the classroom. The Wonder of Learning™ curriculum takes your child's natural curiosity and encourages them to ask even more questions because asking questions fuels learning. When children want to know something, they learn faster and learning becomes an understanding that lasts a lifetime.

Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.

Teddy Bear Program

Foster your child's growth in our caring program for ages 24–36 months! We focus on language, social skills, and potty training. From circle time and helpful jobs to sensory play and name recognition, we provide a patient environment where children thrive together.

Starbright Program

In the Starbright room (ages 3–4), we blend social and academic growth through a structured 9:00 AM–11:30 AM program. Children master name writing and fine motor skills while exploring science, sand tables, and dramatic play. Daily reports keep you connected!

Explorers Class

In the Explorers Class, children are eager to explore the world around them. This is a chance to socialize and develop new skills in a fun and engaging environment. For our 2026/2027 school year, this class will meet Monday-Thursday 9:00-11:30am

Adventures Class

In the Adventures Class, children are ready to take on new and exciting adventures! They are actively engaged in meeting people and exploring the world. For the 2026/2027 school year, this class will meet Monday-Thursday 9:00-11:30am

Preschool

Preschool provides the freedom and opportunity for children to develop and grow in independence and confidence. An engaged child learns! While having fun, they aren’t even aware they are developing reading and math skills. In addition, your child will gain the social skills necessary to succeed in Pre-K and beyond. Through small and large group instruction and activities, teachers focus on every child as an individual — enabling them to gain knowledge and thrive. Our proprietary Seedlings Early Childhood Education Curriculum utilizes theme-based lessons to strengthen your child’s emerging skills in reading, writing, science, technology and math. Additionally, we help prepare your child for the structured learning environment of a kindergarten classroom through teacher-guided instruction and child-led exploration focused on effective communication, the ability to follow instruction and how to work cooperatively with peers.

Pre-K

Studies show that children who participate in a quality Pre-K program are prepared to learn and perform better throughout elementary school. Our curriculum provides theme-based lessons and activities designed to bring out the strengths in every child, so they can enter kindergarten with confidence and are well prepared to learn! Our proprietary Seedlings Early Childhood Education Curriculum utilizes theme-based lessons to strengthen your child’s emerging skills in reading, writing, science, technology and math. Additionally, we help prepare your child for the structured learning environment of a kindergarten classroom through teacher-guided instruction and child-led exploration focused on effective communication, the ability to follow instruction, and how to work cooperatively with peers.

Preschool

Your preschooler is beginning to connect letters, sounds and numbers, expanding their world through reading and math. They’re building critical-thinking skills, early physical fitness and an understanding of nutrition. Our teachers support that learning and encourage your child to think in new and different ways.

Early Preschool

Our Early Preschool teachers partner with you to help your child learn important independent life skills like potty training and hand washing while paying close attention to all aspects of your child’s development.
