Preschool

Tobin offers a school-year, school-day Preschool program from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Preschool is offered as a 3 day (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 4 day (Tuesday-Friday), or a 5 day option. These classrooms follow our academic year calendar with closures on school vacation days and dismissal at noon on early release days. Early childhood education is what we know best at the Tobin School. These early years present an opportunity for children to develop language and literacy skills. Our Preschool and Pre-K programs expose your child to a variety of new ideas, places, and things, setting the stage for strong social relationships. Children at this age learn best in an balanced environment of fun, exploratory play with an introduction to letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.

Preschool

Preschool is a big year. We’ve designed our program to give you complete confidence in every aspect of your child’s experience; from health and safety; to ready-for-school curriculum; to the full support of experienced teachers.

Toddlers

Early childhood education is what we know best at Tobin Children’s School. Children at this age learn most effectively in an environment with a balance of fun, exploratory play, and an introduction to letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. We offer three Toddler classes for children ages 15 months to 2.9 years. With our focus on your child’s learning level, our teaching staff helps your child build beginning skills that will set them up for a love of learning. Our classrooms feature: Language Arts, Science & Math, Foreign Languages, Social Emotional Learning, Fine Arts, Fine and Gross Motor Development, and Individual Child Development.

Preschool

Tobin Children’s School offers a Preschool program for children ages 2.9 years and up, with a ratio of preschooler to caregiver of 10/1. Early childhood education is what we know best at Tobin Children’s School. Children at this age learn most effectively in an environment with a balance of fun, exploratory play, combined with an introduction to letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. Our Preschool children are working on building these beginning skills to provide a strong educational foundation for their next step.

Toddler Program

The Toddler Program serves students ages 18 months to 3 years. Experienced teachers prepare a rich learning environment that fosters social, physical, emotional, developmental, and psychological growth. The toddler develops attention span, coordination, and feelings of security and independence.

Primary Program

The Primary program includes students from 3 to 6 years old. Multi-age classrooms feature a 3-year cycle where students form deep bonds with teachers and peers. Hands-on activities using special Montessori materials help students develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively.
