Preschool program providing a blend of language and cultural immersion to young children. Students are separated into three groups based on their previous exposure to Mandarin Chinese. Mixed-age environment provides an opportunity for children of different age and language levels to develop skills to play cooperatively, work with others, help others, teamwork, and have a sense of empathy. Daily activities include group meeting, planned curriculum, fine motor development, and large/small group literacy. Children partiicpate in outside play, physical activitiy, art, and music. Creative Curriculum is used to create a developmental framework for the program.
