We were so lucky to have found Lisa through a teacher friend that had sent her daughters to A Day at the Beach Childcare. Sad we didn’t have her for our first born but both our boys got to experience her love and kindness for all of their early development years and we still stay in touch. She loves all the littles under her care so well. Her knowledge depth of early childhood development, the calm and gentle way she speaks to the kids and the honesty and comforting spirit she carries throughout her life is something that is very hard to find. Our boys are better because of her and we will always appreciate all that she has done for our family.

We've been part of Lisa's family since 2015 when our son was born. From the moment we interviewed her (and at the same time met her family), we knew there would be no shortage of love in his life. Lisa is a unicorn when it comes to daycare providers. Not only is she a mother herself who has dedicated her life to raising children; she also chose to further her education in ways that allow her to meet children where they're at. She teaches them to be kind, empathetic friends, exposes them to environments and activities that engage all senses and emotions, AND she teaches them foundational academics to set them up for preschool and kindergarten. When we identified learning and developmental delays (and ultimately Austism) with our daughter, Lisa was right there to support in any way should could - by adapting environment, approach and frequently checking in to see how things were going/working. We moved 30 minutes away from Lisa shortly after starting with her, but continued to make the drive for 6 years - until our son started full-time kindergarten and our daughter started full-day preschool. Lisa and her family continue to be part of our lives - we see/visit with them often, they make the trekk to watch sporting events, and the kids enjoy catching up via Facetime. As I've told Lisa, we're forever indebted to her for helping raise our children.

Amazing childcare by a loving provider! Our three children attended A Day at the Beach. Their lives were enriched by the nurturing approach of Lisa (and her entire family!). Our children experienced many developmentally appropriate activities to help them learn and grow. Toys galore, outdoor play, art activities, academic learning disguised as play! We are forever grateful our children spent their early years with Lisa!❤️

We have a 10 month old baby who has been with Lisa since 4 months old and I am SO thankful we found Lisa! She is so caring, considerate, and is excellent at communicating. She’s made me feel like a part of her family since day 1. She also has an amazing family who shows extra love and care for the daycare kiddos! Lisa is very responsive to any concern or sickness and ensures all kiddos are healthy and safe at daycare. She also has a Snapchat just for daycare families which is SO much fun when I’m missing my baby through the day and to see what they are up to! Lisa goes above and beyond-decorating for holidays, incorporating age appropriate crafts, games, and really bringing fun and learning to kids. I would highly recommend a Day at the Beach! She even dressed up my baby as Thing 2 for Dr. Seuss week-enjoy the photo :)
