We have had a great experience with Acorn Nursery School and it has been wonderful to watch our son learn and grow under the warm, supportive care of teachers Tarusha and Maria. We were worried it would be impossible to leave our sensitive child under anyone else’s care, but teachers Tarusha and Maria were so patient, loving, and supportive with him during the transition. In very little time, he was ready to run in the door and play with his friends right at drop-off! Now, at 21 months, he loves talking about all his friends at school and he’s always excited to join in the fun. We love the big sandbox outside; the intimate home setting with just the right number of kids; the mix of ages; the songs; the photos they send of ‘circle time’; the Waldorf-inspired educational approach; and the vibrant, imaginative atmosphere. Our kid has been coming home with great new songs and new words and games to share everyday. We’re so grateful to Acorn and feel very fortunate to have caring teachers and a warm supportive space for these formative early school years.

We couldn’t be happier with Acorn Nursery School! The teachers, Tarusha and Maria, have created a wonderful and nurturing environment where our son feels safe, loved, and excited to learn each day. We absolutely love the play-based approach they use, which allows the children to learn through songs, hands-on activities, and by helping out in the classroom. It’s such a joy to see our son develop a love for learning in such a fun and engaging way. The beautiful backyard is an added bonus – it provides a perfect space for the kids to explore and connect with nature. We truly feel so fortunate to have found a daycare where our child can grow and thrive, and we’re incredibly grateful for the care and attention that Tarusha and Maria give to each child.
