I create a safe environment for my children and make it possible for them to feel calm and comfortable in my center. We support children in developing healthy self-help skills. We adapt the environment and the schedule to accommodate children's individual needs. I arrange my center both indoors and out, which influences what children will learn. We establish positive and productive relationships with families. We satisfactorily demonstrated competence in working with young children through an assessment by the Child Development Associate and other organizations in Early Childhood Education.
