Alpha Kids Academy - CLOSED

Enrolling my 3 year old at AKA Menlo Park has been one of the best childcare decisions that we’ve made for our family. The school is in a building that’s shared with a church but don’t let the modest space fool you, the teachers and administrators are wonderful and they really partner with the parents to ensure that the child is developing socially, emotionally, and academically. Also non-religious if that matters to you. When we drop off our son, we sometimes have to remind him to give us goodbye hugs because he just runs inside the school excitedly to start his day. As working parents, we feel endlessly grateful to have found a school where he’s happy and safe. Would recommend AKA to anyone looking for a great preschool in Menlo Park!

A hidden gem in Menlo Park. As an Atherton mom I looked long and hard for a preschool/daycare for my son. Where he could do pre K curriculum and just be a kid. I visited dozens of schools, some strict about potty training and others with horrible student to teacher ratios (like 12 to 1). Until I found this one. Since they just open, the ratio is 1 to 1. Amazing. They have bilingual teachers and a small enough classroom size where my son gets the individualized care he needs. They can take him to the bathroom when he needs it, they teach him math and after two days he came home singing his ABC's. Brilliant! The outdoor rec area is my sons favorite part; super safe, plenty of jungle gyms, away from busy streets. Drop off in the church parking lot is a breeze.
