Alvern has been nothing short of a lifesaver for our family. Alvern was highly recommended to me by several other daycare providers and parents we knew while I was looking for a spot for my infant. My daughter started with Alvern when she was 9mos old and stayed until she was 2yrs old. Alvern has a pristine home and the perfect setup for infants and children. I knew immediately that my daughter would be safe and loved. Every day my daughter was so happy to go Ms. Alvern’s. I am so grateful for our experience there, and would highly recommend her to any parent.

Looking for an in-home daycare for a 12 week baby is quite possibly the most stressful hurdle in transitioning back to work. I interviewed 2 other in-home daycares before I met Alvern. I knew right away that we had struck gold with Alvern. Her home is immaculate, she is warm and personable and best of all she asks lots of questions. Alvern supported the sleeping and feeding routine that I had in place and was so helpful when I had to start supplementing with formula when my breastmilk ran low. I have referred other new moms to her and each one have reached back to me saying she is the answer to their prayers.

I feel like I won the lottery when we found Alvern! Alvern was made to care for small children. It is her passion and its obvious in everything she does with her business. She genuinely cares for the children in her home and she takes great pride in what she does. Her house is immaculate and designed with her daycare in mind. She runs a thorough operation when it comes to the business side of her daycare, which is reassuring. She was always so helpful with any questions I had and as a first time mom, I had a lot! I also appreciated that she was flexible and accommodated any special requests I had. My only issue with Alvern was that she wouldn't keep my daughter until she went to kindergarten! :-) We miss her!

Ms. Alvern provided daycare for both of my sons from infant to two years old. I highly recommend her. I had no worries about my boys when they were in her care. She cared for and loved my boys and they were taken care of in a safe and extremely clean environment. When my neighbors needed daycare, I recommended Alvern. They had been through several daycares and to this day they still comment on how pleased they were at Alvern's and how her care was far superior to the other places they had been. I've had a few friends that have also used Alvern's daycare and everyone is thoroughly pleased. She's hands down the best daycare!

Ms. Alvern provides daycare for my 1.5 year old grandson. She provides a loving and caring environment for the children in her care and her home is immaculate, safe and welcoming. Ms. Alvern is so charming and she provides such great care to my grandson and we are grateful for the in home care she provides during the work week. My grandson is always to be dropped off in the morning and he is happy when I arrive to pick him up later in the day. Ms. Alvern has been and is a blessing to our family!

Ms. Alvern has been our daycare provider since our son was 10 months old. He will be two years old in November. Although, I’m not a first time mom, I had my nerves and worries about bringing him anywhere… but thankfully Ms. Alvern removed those worries from us; She is thorough with her daycare regarding paperwork and ensuring all is done correctly and appropriately. Her home is immaculate as well as spacious and inviting to the children. She has plenty of age-appropriate toys for the children and has cubbies for each individual child. I do love her loving and caring ways toward all the kiddos. She genuinely loves the kids and shows it and the kids reciprocate that love too! We are extremely pleased to have Ms. Alvern taking care of our son.

After interviewing many in home daycare providers we knew Alvern was the perfect person to care for our son while my husband and I worked. He has been there a year now, from the age of 12 weeks old. She made us feel very comfortable leaving him there for 8 hours a day and that was very hard as we were nervous, new parents. We loved the care and attention our son received as a newborn and now the interaction he has with similar aged children. Alvern checked in with me at the end of my pregnancy and right after we had our son, and she even made herself available if we had any questions, concerns or needed some advice along the way. She is a warm and caring person who loves and treats our son like family. She’s got an immaculate home and daycare, and sanitization during these times has never been a concern for us. Our son has grown and flourished in her daycare environment. He’s excited to get there in the mornings and hardly ever wants to leave at pick-up, we cannot begin to express how grateful we were to find her.
