Parent Reviews
Our son is on his third and final year at ALG and we've been thrilled with this preschool from day 1. The quality of the teachers is outstanding, there is a strong sense of community, and kids seem to thrive in the play-based learning environment, much of it outdoors. Even during the pandemic the school has operated safely with in-person instruction (outdoors) while most peer schools have been relegated to the Zoom screen. Its small size, outdoors orientation and can-do spirit has made that possible under very challenging circumstances. That has been an enormous blessing for our whole family. ALG's play-based approach nurtures curiosity, empathy, self-confidence, teamwork and community-minded thinking while integrating skills development in the context of play. It is also a very supportive environment for parents.
