Description provided by the business.Play-based, non-profit childcare center serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children. Ten classrooms and four outdoor play areas are divided by age and feature developmentally-appropriate stimuli and materials. Creative thought and problem-solving strategies are encouraged as teachers work with children to build social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Program also includes weekly performances by local artists as well as Spanish and soccer classes. Priority is given to civil servants; however, the program accepts all families when space is available.

My daughter has been at Ames center almost 3 years now and we could not love the place more. It's a non-profit so we can be sure tuition goes directly to staff, children's experiences and equipment. Many teachers stay with the center for a long time. There is lots of outdoor space and daily outdoor activities for the children. They have play-based philosophy that is focused on child's individual development. They provided diapers, formula, milk, snacks and lunches included in the price. During the pandemic the parent events stopped, but now they are coming back. Overall this has been a great experience for our family.
