Childcare program serving visually impaired and blind children in the Stapleton area. Children learn in a sensory-rich environment with many opportunities to learn through exploration and play. Teachers provide a variety of developmentally-appropriate activities to work on each child's physical, social, emotional and cognitive skills. Children work on daily living skills, literacy through braille, mobility and use of assistive devices and more. Facility has vision teachers, as well as physical, speech, occupational and music therapists to work with parents and help children with sleeping, feeding, socializing, crawling, communication and more.
