We are so grateful to have found Belizean Daycare. Our son has been in the care of Alcira and her team since May and he has blossomed there. He is always happy to see everyone upon drop off and lately doesn’t want to leave at pickup because he’s having so much fun! The curriculum is engaging and developmentally appropriate. They provide activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity, as well as fun sensory experiences. Alcira is communicative and keeps us well informed of our sons growth. The staff is always willing to discuss any questions or concerns, and their openness fosters a strong partnership between parents and caregivers. We also appreciate the emphasis on social/emotional learning. Our son has made wonderful new friends and it’s heartwarming to see how he interacts with his peers. Overall, Belizean Daycare has exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a safe, enriching and loving environment for their child. Best daycare in Marin. Alcira and her mother “Abuela Maria” are the best caregivers. They are very warm and sweet with all the children. They cook great food every day, my son loves everything. They look after my son as if he was theirs. Now my son just had a sister, and they helped me a lot with the transition, tantrums, jealousy, they give me always good advice when I am concerned. I don’t have enough words to describe how I am feeling when my son is in Belizean daycare. He is just the happiest boy, all the time playing, painting, they go to the park, they have music once per week. All the activities and stimulation that a child needs at this age. I highly recommend this daycare, for me the best in Marin. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret. Your children will be safe learning in the best environment with the best people.

I can’t say enough wonderful and amazing things about Belizean Daycare. They had both my boys - first at 8 months and second at 4 months (my boys are now 4 years and 3 years old). They are the most caring, kind, and lovely people that I could have left my boys with while I had to work. Best daycare in Marin! Alcira and Charisse are truly one of a kind- my boys LOVED going to daycare. It would be the weekend and both my boys would ask about when they are going to see Charisse or Alcira- it was so sweet. Knowing my boys were loved and cared for is the best thing a parent can know while away. If you are trying to find a daycare and looking for trusted care- Belizean Daycare is it ❤️.

We love Belizean Daycare of Marin! Originally, after relocating back to San Rafael I was very nervous about putting my daughter into a daycare because she had never been away from me. At nine months, I enrolled her with Belizean daycare and it’s been such a beautiful experience to watch. My daughter is now four, and Alcira has become a part of our family. My daughter tells me every Friday that she’ll miss Alcira over the weekend! She has helped us through many transitions like bottle to sippy cup, and diapers to potty with ease. I love the daily program she provides for the kids. My daughter’s favorite days are Tuesday because of the music class. When I had a second baby, I knew I would have no worries about returning to work because of the relationship and trust that is built between Alcira and the parents. My second daughter has hit every developmental milestone early and I truly believe it’s due to the educational experience provided at Belizean daycare! She truly does an amazing job with the kids, and the best part about her is that you can tell she truly enjoys it! She plans Annual Egg Hunts for Easter, and during Christmas Santa makes a special stop to her house. It’s the little things that let me know the children's safety and happiness are the most important! Highly recommended!

I cannot speak highly enough about Alcira and her home daycare. My daughter started attending at 15 months and I saw her absolutely flourish and blossom under Alcira’s loving care. She really has a “preschool” approach and the kids are learning and doing crafts and playing and dancing, just having a blast all day. They go to the park across the street, and Alcira has a small outdoor area with rotating activities such as sand and even growing tomatoes! My daughter frequently comes home with artwork she has made that Alcira clearly put time into planning and organizing. My daughter calls Alcira her best friend. I sent my son at 4 months (when my daughter was 2.5, they are attending together now) and he is also flourishing and growing. I didn’t even think twice about sending him at 4 months because I know how special and professional and knowledgeable Alcira is and that he would be in excellent hands. They each come home happy every day and excited to go to Alcira’s house in the mornings. I highly, highly recommend Belizean daycare!
