We have had the most incredible experience at Beth Shir Shalom with my son! He started preschool at 18 months old and I could not be more pleased with the care he has received at this school. I find it difficult to to trust my son with anyone other than family, and it was very important for us to find a school that we were comfortable with. Beth Shir Shalom has provided him with a safe space for him to learn, grow, and expend the endless amounts of energy he has. He loves school and is so excited to go every day! The facility is beautiful with a great outdoor space for them to play every day, and the classrooms are designed beautifully with just the right amount of stimulation for each age group. The administration is extremely knowledgeable and on top of everything that happens at school. I am so grateful for this school and look forward to sending my younger son in a year!

Beth Shir Shalom ECC is the best! I am so grateful for Cynthia, Robin, and the entire community of teachers and families. My daughter started when she was 2.5 years old, and she is about to graduate. She is thriving, has made terrific friendships, and is ready for Kindergarten. The teachers are warm, caring, and engaging with the kids. We had such a positive experience, that I decided to start my son ASAP, which was when he turned 18 months. We love that BSS has a full day option because we are a dual working household.

I have 4 children ranging in age from 10 years to 2 years and all four of my kids have attended (or are currently attending) Beth Shir Shalom preschool. This place is a true gem! My children have all flourished here and it is truly our second home. The entire staff is wonderful - loving, caring, warm and experienced. The community is amazing and my kids are still good friends with their preschool friends despite going off to different elementary schools. I feel so fortunate to have found BSS over 10 years ago.

We are so happy we stumbled upon this excellent daycare/ preschool. Our daughter is almost 4 and has been with ECC since 18 months. The teachers are fantastic-- Sophie, Alla, Jasmine, Helena-- we love all of them. They are caring, thoughtful, kind and have been wonderful mentors to our little one. The ECC program is well designed to keep our daughter creatively engaged and curious. Best preschool in Santa Monica!

We absolutely love the ECC at Beth Shir Shalom! We started our daughter in their 18 month old class during this past summer (2019) without having put her in any daycare or nanny situation previously and she immediately loved it! We took a tour with Robin one morning and signed our daughter up the minute we got home. We knew in our gut it was the right place for us and every minute since has only proven it to be true! Our daughter has never had a single day she wasn't thrilled to go to school, adores her teachers and gets to do such fun activities every single day like playing outside, baking breads and challahs, learning about her Jewish heritage, singing songs, music class, STEM activities, along with all of the normal exposure of learning to play with other kids, sharing, listening, etc. There aren't many schools that take kids at 18 months and we are so fortunate and feel so lucky to have found BSS when we did.
