As a former preschool parent, and long-time member of the CBI preschool board, I am delighted to offer a recommendation for this school. Throughout its 50-year history the school has been known and respected for its nurturing environment, small classes, and an age-appropriate play-based curriculum that helps children build social-emotional intelligence alongside STEAM content that will assure your child is ready for any of the kindergartens in Millburn and surrounding towns. I am most excited about our incoming director, Aliza Maslansky, who brings a wealth of experience, credentials and a phenomenal reputation as a preschool director and educator. This is an amazing program. Small classes, ensuring that the teachers really get to know each child. Warm and nurturing, helped my kids develop a love of learning and exploration, while at the same time ensuring readiness for kindergarten. While it is housed in a synagogue, it is open to all and the families are quite diverse. The school focuses on teaching values that are important regardless of religious or other background. Highly recommend it.
