At Big Blue Marble Academy, we create an environment that nurtures and embraces the high-energy attitudes of two-year-olds by giving them plenty of room to explore. Our curriculum for this age group incorporates music and movement to introduce children to new skills in fun and memorable ways, build their confidence, and help strengthen their love of learning. A typical day can include songs, story time, music, and movement during “Circle Time” and “Free Choice,” which gives children the opportunity to make choices about what activity they would like to participate in based on their own interests. Our childhood program focuses on providing enriching learning experiences for young children in our child care center. Description
For Four- and Five-Year-Olds Who Reside in Georgia. Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a FREE state lottery-funded educational program for all age-eligible four-year-old children in Georgia. The purpose of Georgia’s Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in kindergarten and later school years. The program operates on the regular school system calendar for the length of the school day. The enrollment process involves submitting an enrollment form, birth certificate, utility bill, hospital record, and immunizations. To participate, children must be four years of age on or before September 1 of the school year and must be a resident of Georgia. Proof that a child is age-eligible and is a Georgia resident is required to register for Pre-K.

Description
We offer before- and after-school care at most of our child care centers. As a part of our before-school program, children may be dropped off in the morning and most locations provide breakfast before transporting or transitioning them to school or one of our onsite school-age or state Pre-K programs. Our after-school programs also offer homework support, learning opportunities, and social skills development for children. We offer various activities across age ranges from structured exploration of different cultures and destinations, to supervised play and games, to more independent play and homework support for the older students. Our after-school program provides homework support and fosters character development through group activities and additional playtime.

Each year during summer months, our Passport to Adventure Club transforms into a high-energy, fun-filled, full-day summer camp! Our camps take global learning to a deeper level through hands-on, multi-sensory experiences, field trips (where available), interactive interest-based clubs, and world language learning. Big Blue Marble Academy’s summer camp offers fun and learning. Campers love everything that BBMA has to offer, including lasting memories and making new friends. Big Blue Marble Summer Camp is open to school age children (ages 5-12). We also incorporate our summer theme into our preschool classes (children ages 3-4) with on-site activities.

We highly recommend BBMA in Acworth! Our oldest started in the infant room over a year ago and the teachers were fabulous! In fact, they were so good that when it was time for our youngest to begin daycare, we knew we wanted her with Ms. Sherly and Ms. Vasthi! They go above and beyond to make sure we know what is going on throughout the day. You can see how much they love the babies (and see how well-loved they are by all the kids!). The toddler classroom has also been a positive experience for us. The teachers are loving and compassionate with all of the children in their care. Despite all the toddler meltdowns they must experience, the teachers are always ready with a smile. Our oldest loves going to “school” and playing with her friends, and she especially loves Ms. Makenzie. BBMA communicates with us constantly to ensure we are comfortable with their procedures and to ask about our routines at home as well. The Procare app allows parents to see updates throughout the day, including pictures. It also logs check in and check out times for peace of mind. After looking at several other daycares in the area, we feel that BBMA is the best overall fit. We have been extremely pleased with BBMA and do not hesitate to recommend it to our friends and family!
I wish there was a way to give more stars! We have LOVED this facility from the beginning! The teachers/staff are absolutely the best! They do so many activities with the little ones! They keep you updated through an app where they send photos and logs throughout the day! Our little one runs to class to see his friends every morning! I recommend this daycare to everyone!!! Finding a reliable, safe and educational daycare around here is hard, but they truly have went above and beyond!
Best daycare by far! The staff is so caring, loving, and attentive. Being a single mom, it can be hard on your mama heart to have to have others care for your child.My son is in their after school care, as well as their summer camp program. Hands down the best daycare my son has ever been in! Give them a try! You will not be disappointed!
