Description
At Big Blue Marble Academy, we create an environment that nurtures and embraces the high-energy attitudes of two-year-olds by giving them plenty of room to explore. Our curriculum for this age group incorporates music and movement to introduce children to new skills in fun and memorable ways, build their confidence, and help strengthen their love of learning. A typical day can include songs, story time, music, and movement during “Circle Time” and “Free Choice,” which gives children the opportunity to make choices about what activity they would like to participate in based on their own interests. Our childhood program focuses on providing enriching learning experiences for young children in our child care center. Our childhood education classes are designed to support their brain development, promote literacy skills, and introduce new math concepts.

Each year during summer months, our Passport to Adventure Club transforms into a high-energy, fun-filled, full-day summer camp! Our camps take global learning to a deeper level through hands-on, multi-sensory experiences, field trips (where available), interactive interest-based clubs, and world language learning. Big Blue Marble Academy’s summer camp offers fun and learning. Campers love everything that BBMA has to offer, including lasting memories and making new friends. Big Blue Marble Summer Camp is open to school age children (ages 5-12). We also incorporate our summer theme into our preschool classes (children ages 3-4) with on-site activities.

My son attended Oak Brook starting in September 2024, and his last day was on Halloween. We had a wonderful experience with Oak Brook prior to the BBMA transition. Ms. Sarita and Ms. Janae are truly exceptional — my son grew and thrived in their care, and I would give them 10 stars if I could. After the transition to BBMA, things felt less smooth, and it seemed like some of the heart of the facility was lost. When my son moved to his most recent classroom, staffing challenges led to inconsistent updates. Even so, Ms. Dmaya was caring and patient with such a challenging age group, and it’s clear she truly loves the kids. The teachers at this center are kind, dedicated, and doing their best — I just feel they need more support. Ultimately, we decided to move our son to a daycare closer to home.
My son went to BBMA for 7 months before he started Pre K and he absolutely LOVED Mrs. Jenny! She was so wonderful and always made sure to make learning fun for the kiddos! The school was always so clean and welcoming.
Oh my God, the staff there is so amazing. My grandson is developing better there than the 2 previous schools. Mrs.Tee work ethic is amazing. She's also a great listener and tries every way possible to keep you updated. I love her and the team there. Mrs Tee is the center director and does an amazing job. I recommended this school to a few people because of the staff there.
My daughter has been attending this school for almost two years, and we’ve experienced the transition from Oak Brook to BBMA. From the very first day, she has loved being here. The daily schedule keeps her engaged and excited, with activities in the STEM room, computer lab, gym, library, and even time on the splash pad during the summer months. At her previous daycare, she stayed in one classroom all day and often became bored. Here, she’s constantly learning, moving, and exploring something new. Now that she’s in kindergarten, BBMA provides transportation from her elementary school, and every afternoon when I pick her up, she asks why I came “so early” because she’s still having so much fun! Her kindergarten teacher has commented multiple times that my daughter entered school more than prepared—knowing over 80% of the material being taught—and even helps other students who are struggling. I credit this completely to her PK2 teacher, Ms. Ariel, whose dedication and patience made a tremendous impact on my daughter’s growth. Ms. Ariel takes the time to understand each child individually and learns how to help them succeed. All the teachers at this school are truly amazing. Their passion, commitment, and genuine love for their students make all the difference. They go above and beyond every day to create a nurturing and enriching environment where children can thrive. I sincerely hope that the new management recognizes and values the hard work, professionalism, and heart that these teachers bring to the classroom. Their dedication is what makes this school so special, and they deserve to be appreciated and supported.
