At Big Blue Marble Academy, we create an environment that nurtures and embraces the high-energy attitudes of two-year-olds by giving them plenty of room to explore. Our curriculum for this age group incorporates music and movement to introduce children to new skills in fun and memorable ways, build their confidence, and help strengthen their love of learning. A typical day can include songs, story time, music, and movement during “Circle Time” and “Free Choice,” which gives children the opportunity to make choices about what activity they would like to participate in based on their own interests. Our childhood program focuses on providing enriching learning experiences for young children in our child care center. Our childhood education classes are designed to support their brain development, promote literacy skills, and introduce new math concepts.

Description
For Four- and Five-Year-Olds Who Reside in Florida. The Florida Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Education Program or Florida VPK is a FREE Pre-K program for four and five-year-olds who reside in Florida. Florida VPK gives children a jump start by preparing them for school and enhancing their pre-reading, pre-math, language and social skills. By developing the skills children need to become strong readers and students at an early age, children are more likely to be successful in school. Florida VPK classrooms offer high-quality programs that include high literacy standards, developmentally appropriate curricula, manageable class sizes, and qualified teachers. The Florida VPK school-year program includes 540 hours of instructional time and begins in August. Registration starts in March and goes through July. To register, parents must bring their registration form to secure a spot and prove Florida residency. Children must be age four on or before September 1 and going to K-5 the following year. Description
We offer before- and after-school care at most of our child care centers. As a part of our before-school program, children may be dropped off in the morning and most locations provide breakfast before transporting or transitioning them to school or one of our onsite school-age or state Pre-K programs. Our after-school programs also offer homework support, learning opportunities, and social skills development for children. We offer various activities across age ranges from structured exploration of different cultures and destinations, to supervised play and games, to more independent play and homework support for the older students. Our after-school program provides homework support and fosters character development through group activities and additional playtime.

Each year during summer months, our Passport to Adventure Club transforms into a high-energy, fun-filled, full-day summer camp! Our camps take global learning to a deeper level through hands-on, multi-sensory experiences, field trips (where available), interactive interest-based clubs, and world language learning. Big Blue Marble Academy’s summer camp offers fun and learning. Campers love everything that BBMA has to offer, including lasting memories and making new friends. Big Blue Marble Summer Camp is open to school age children (ages 5-12). We also incorporate our summer theme into our preschool classes (children ages 3-4) with on-site activities.

Sending my two year old to daycare has been tough, but it’s so nice to see her little updates throughout the day. I’m glad we found such a wonderful daycare that makes each day exciting with new activities for her to learn and explore. Each month they explore a new country with curriculum tailored to experiences for that country. It is a relief as a working mom to see that my baby is not just hanging out but also learning. Her teachers are very caring, I’m impressed at the learning experience she is receiving. We’ve been at BBMA for two years now and hope to continue with such a lovely experience. I will be enrolling my newborn soon as well. All of the children I see leaving seem very happy and the older kids are always happily telling their parents what they learned every day when I go to pick up my child.
We love this daycare/ school! My daughter goes 2 year old class. Super nice staff, clean and safe. 10/10 recommend to anyone!
All of the teachers my children have had at Big Blue Marble Academy have been kind, supportive, and show that they really care about the well being of their students. We love it here!
