I can't say enough good things about Ms. Ashley, who runs the childcare along with her daughter Macchi! We feel so fortunate to have found such a special duo because of the love, quality care, and personalized attention they gave to our son. They love him like their own! Every day he was exposed to books, music, outside time, and play that encouraged him to explore and reach new milestones. As soon as he saw Ms. Ashley and Macchi at drop-off, he would start smiling. Ashley also understands the challenge of being a new mom dropping off her first baby, and spoiled me with tons of photos and videos every day of our son in action. It was the perfect first childcare experience for our new family. If we hadn't moved cross-country to the east coast, we wouldn't have left their care! The caregiver to infant ratio can't be beat and she has 30 years of early childhood care experience, including running both a large center daycare her own in-home daycare. This place is very special!

I enthusiastically recommend Ashley to anyone looking for care for their baby or toddler. She watched my daughter from ages 3 mos to 2 years and could not have done a better job. She cared for my baby like a member of her own family. My daughter was excited to arrive each day and I always had peace of mind that she was well-cared for. Ashley is truly a gem and committed to nurturing little hearts and minds. I'm so glad we found her when we did.

Our daughter started at Bright Start at 6 months old. I cannot say enough amazing things about Ms. Ashley and the teachers. They are so warm, loving, attentive, and caring - not only with your child, but with you as a new parent too! I remember my first call with Ashley, and she just spent her time putting me at ease about the whole process of finding the right caregiver. No hard sells, just a human being helping a nervous first time mom. If you choose to send your child here, know they will be taken care of immensely. It's a smaller group of children, so lots of 1:1 time. I also loved that they were able to get outside, walk to parks, and even get out to downtown Culver City. I also loved that the teachers worked with us on various developmental stages, and really prioritized creating solid napping environments. We were so sad to leave once our daughter hit 2 years old, but we still stay in touch and wish her services could extend up through kindergarten.
