We had the pleasure of sending both of our children to Building Blocks. When we were first searching for childcare 6 years ago we focused on a nanny and nanny share. However a family friend had recommended Building Blocks and so we decided to check it out. We immediately witnessed the care and love that the children are given by Nikki, her family and Blanca. The kids have an abundance of toys and books to play with and they are treated to music, art and other activities each week. Everyday the kids are given a homemade breakfast, lunch and snacks, all organic, healthy and delicious. My kids to this day still love Salmon, which I couldn't imagine at ages 6 and 3. As a first time parent, I learned so much from Nikki and Blanca and I was comforted knowing that my kids were treated as if they were their own children. I will never forget my kids leaping out of my arms into Blanca's and often closing the door on me, signaling that they were ready for me to go 😊. Additionally the families that we have met through Building Blocks continue to be part of our lives even after our kids have left the daycare. The community that is built through the daycare is hard to replicate and we are so grateful to Nikki and everyone at Building Blocks for creating such a wonderful environment for our kids and our family.

Nikki is amazing! I sent both my boys to her for their first 2.5 years of life and it was the best decision. She puts so much care and time into her program, from the food, to teaching, to sleep schedules and beyond. She cooks the most nutrient rich, fresh and organic meals that really helped develop my boys pallets. She brings in teachers for music, dance and art activities. She supports what you are doing at home such as your sleeping program and potty training plan. She provides everything the kids need for the day, such an easy drop off and pick up transition. And most importantly, she is so caring and nurturing with the kids and boy do they love her back.

Building Blocks is wonderful! We sent both of our babies here from 6 months on. It was hard to leave and both kids still say that they miss Building Blocks. I felt safe and comfortable as a first time mom leaving my baby with Nikki and Blanca. You can tell they really care for and love the children they care for. They have become family to us! They are both amazing and I truly could not recommend them more!

We feel incredibly lucky to have Building Blocks in our lives. Both my husband and I don't have any family close by (Switzerland and South Carolina) so Nikki and Blanca have truly become family to us. Not only have they been there for us whenever we needed help overcoming huge hurdles like sleep training, introducing new foods, etc. but also on off hours when we needed someone to watch them because we had a work event running late, or when we needed a weekend away! A true gem and light in our family. Not something I have ever heard any other daycare doing. Nikki is an amazing chef and she really values organic food, including all food groups as much as possible in the little ones journey to discover food and makes me feel less bad when I end up just not having enough time to make a super healthy meal for dinner when I pick them up. I can truly from my deepest of hearts recommend Building Blocks for any family with young kids. It is not easy to trust anyone with your little ones but they have made it so incredibly easy and joyful that I know I will keep reaching out when my little one has to move on to a preschool. I want to keep up our friendship we have formed over the past years. <3
