Program is designed around each child's individual interests and can include: sports, art, reading, technology, drama, cooking, and science. Daily routine includes time for teacher-assisted homework, snacks, crafts, and outdoor time on two large playgrounds. Transportation is offered to and from Smithfield and Johnston Elementary Schools. Center also services areas of North Scituate. A Preschool program is also offered at this location.

My daughter jumped to come to school here when I dropped her off. I highly recommend and you will never worry if your little one is ok. They cater the food for lunch and snacks to add the cherry on the cadence sundae….
I couldn't be a happier mom! I highly recommend Candace Academy. I've been to and also worked at other daycares with my daughter but Cadance has been the BEST! She's never had so much love for her teacher's(mom included!) and they all treat her like family! The Staff is caring and patient. They teach and Interact and have fun, not scold and just babysit. They have numerous visitor's come and teach them as well as field trips and more! They take picture's almost daily and some vidoes to let us parent's see what happens in class and we can Awww over them! Another thing they do is, all meals and snacks are provided! So thats definitely a plus! She has been attending there since 2017 and Her class was the *1st graduating class of 2019! * Candace provides transportation and now 6yrs old, she attends the after school/school age program down stairs, but because of the bond she has made with the staff, (whom I adore as well) we frequently visit upstairs for hello's and hugs!!!
The Children’s Workshop is a wonderful program. I enrolled my son just a few months ago. He came from a very nice preschool, this morning my son said to me Momma thank you for sending me to The Children’s Workshop I Love it. Please don’t ever send me to the other place. I love all my teachers expecally Ms. Ruth. My son also loves the fact that he goes outside all the time. He has only been there a short time and has learned to add and subtract. The director Tanya is a wonderful person. Thank you
I have nothing but LOVE for TCW - Smithfield as my oldest started there as an infant in 2005 and I've had all five of my kids enrolled there since. Including my 5-month-old who just started a few weeks ago! Thanks for all that you do!

I love the Cadence Academy Smithfield group! All of the teachers are always so kind and friendly, saying hi to Maddie and I and clearly care about all of the kids. I love the updates we get on the Kaymbu app! The pictures make me so happy while I'm at work and it feels good to know that Maddie is happy and to see what she's learning about and how she is playing that day.
Our kiddo loves going to school and I love that we are often able to do drop ins on her off days if needed. Also love that the school provides food but we can provide our own diapers.
The teachers and administrators are always so happy. Probably the most important thing is their well being, so they can take care of my kids.
