I’m so glad we found Cadence Academy, especially this location! I was so nervous for my daughters first day, just like she was. My tears lasted longer than hers once we arrived though. Her teachers Marena and Katherine welcomed her with open arms! Marena took over and hugged my baby close and showed her around the class. You can tell she truly cares about her students. She’s always telling me stories about the day and updating me on funny things my daughter has said (I especially love this because it shows she’s engaging and paying attention to her all day). Katherine continues to learn my babe and her personality. She knows she now needs a little space when we first arrive and she respects my daughter and helps her in the ways she specifically needs. They make a great team! I love that they do things like a dance party, yoga or freeze dance to give the kids an exciting day. I also really like that Cadence Academy has a structured schedule and focuses on things like math and writing catered to the specific age groups. It’s more than just a daycare even before preschool age. My daughter at age 2 can now draw a better circle than I can! The entire staff at Cadence Academy Tumwater from Mr. Dave who does meals/snacks to Angel the director to every other staff who takes the time to be so kind to my daughter and I, we appreciate you❤️ Other things to note: they keep it clean, the child to teacher ratio is watched closely and they provide nice healthy food for them. I’m pretty meticulous when it comes to finding the little things I don’t like and won’t stand for any teeny tiny red flags when it comes to my baby- I feel like I don’t need my radars up here. I’d definitely recommend sending your child to Cadence Academy Tumwater if you want peace of mind when it comes to childcare.

My daughter has been going to Cadence- tumwater for a little over a year now. The baby room was/is amazing, we just adored Mrs Charlotte and it helped feeling you were leaving your baby with someone who really cared. My daughter moved up to the 1 year old room and is now in the 2s. It's such a joy seeing the teachers just smile at my little one when she comes in. She is learning daily and loves the outside play. We've had nothing but good experiences with the staff here also. If a concern is brought to their attention it is taken care of in a timely manner. I know the times of "covid" have been hard on all of us and they do a great job at adjusting to the new rules. 😄
