My husband and I have two children who attend Kindercare Canyon Country. Our daughter is in Miss Diana's preschool class, while our son is in Miss Keosha's Discovery Preschool class. We are writing to you today to tell you how impressed we are with this year's curriculum! On the first day of school, our daughter Anya (4.5 years old), learned about sight words (ie., the/and/he). We usually read books before going to bed at night. We were blown away when Anya started to read the sight words from the books! She was so proud that she could read parts of the book along with us. She also started learning Spanish in school, and is so excited about learning a new language. At the same time, our son Laksh (2.5 years old), is showing the same incredible progression! He is speech delayed and has been working with a speech therapist to expand his vocabulary. Miss Iliana, Miss Keosha, and the rest of the Kindercare faculty have been true partners with us in helping us through this. He has expanded his vocabulary at least threefold since starting school just a few months ago. Last week, he surprised us by counting (unaided) from 1-10! We wanted to relay to you that we are really happy with this year's curriculum. It is challenging and fun at the same time. Our kids are flourishing at this school, and the credit goes to the incredible staff and the impressive curriculum. Miss Iliana is not only a capable director, but also very friendly, accessible, and caring to the kids and to the parents. She creates a safe and comfortable environment that parents can feel good about. Of course, her staff, including Miss Kirsten, Miss Diana, Miss Keosha, Miss Jennifer, and the others, also exemplify this same care. Thanks again for the great work!
