This morning, I dropped off my daughter and told her teacher, Mrs. Cecilia that she would be out next week because we were going to the beach. Without missing a beat, she quickly retrieved a piece of construction paper with block outlines on it and said, “oh wonderful! She can make Sun Art while she is there and when she is finished letting the Sun make the shape, she can cut them out because that is great for fine motor skills.” I smiled and told her we would do just that. This center not only cares about children when they are inside the center, they care about them holistically. From the teachers like Mrs. Cecilia and Mrs. Shirrell who specialize in top tier curriculum. To Mrs. Jordan and Mrs. Veronica who are always available with extra hugs and concern. The teachers here care and most are seasoned in early childhood education. I can’t leave out the Directors who keep the center running like a well run school as opposed to a daycare. Ms. Katie is super organized and helpful and Mrs. Natashia is the glue that keeps this center together, as she knows all of the kids and parents by name, is the perfect balance of compassion and professionalism, requires the best from her staff, all while making the parents feel at ease and comfortable. I must admit, I have high standards and can be demanding at time, but I must say, this Celebree has exceeded my expectations at every turn.
