Montessori childcare program serving children and families in the Bellevue area. Teachers provide educational and recreational activities to help prepare children for school and increase independence. Children work on practical life and self-help skills, such as preparing food, hammering nails and using other tools, dressing and washing dishes. Other activities are STEAM-based, with lessons in science, technology, engineering, art and math. Character development and social skills are also a large component of the program. Classrooms are set up with materials and activities that encourage children to explore and learn through play.
