A Wonderful Montessori Preschool Experience! I couldn't be happier with our experience at Children's House of Montessori! From the moment we walked through the doors, it was clear that this was a place where children are truly valued and nurtured. The Montessori approach has fostered independence, curiosity, and a love of learning in my daughter. The environment is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to encourage exploration and self-discovery. The teachers are incredibly dedicated and genuinely care about each child's development. They take the time to understand each student's unique needs and learning style, offering personalized guidance and support. My daughter has grown so much, both academically and socially, thanks to the individualized attention she receives here. What stands out the most is the emphasis on fostering confidence, responsibility, and problem-solving skills. It's amazing to see how empowered my daughter feels in making decisions and navigating her relationships with her two older sisters - she has opinions and she is confident to share them! She also has developed useful life skills - she just turned three, but she is able to set the table, fold napkins, etc, and she sometimes does these things without being prompted! The hands-on materials and open-ended activities keep them engaged and excited to learn every day. She is always happy to go to school! We are so grateful for the wonderful experience at Children's House of Montessori and highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, child-centered educational environment. It's truly a place where children thrive!
Children’s House of Montessori on Camp is a wonderful, nurturing school. Two of our boys are currently enrolled and we could not be happier. The Head of School, Ms. Taylor, cares deeply about the wellbeing and growth of each child. The lead teacher, Ms. Karla, is incredibly warm and caring, and has been meeting the unique needs of each of my children. This is a true Montessori school: the environment is carefully prepared and when you observe the children in class, they attend to their own work happily and independently to the sounds of instrumental music. We are so happy we chose CHOM and cannot recommend it highly enough!
We have been so happy since our daughter joined CHOM on Camp. Taylor and her team are excellent and patient educators. Their Montessori approach was the perfect fit for our child's learning style and has really brought her out of her shell. We cannot recommend this school enough!
Our children absolutely love it here, and we couldn't recommend Children's House more highly. The teachers have been so kind, engaged, and nurturing, taking a genuine interest in our kids' development. I have been so impressed with the strides taken in language, interpersonal skills, and self-sufficiency since starting here. The little ones are excited every time we pull up to start the day, and never seem ready to leave!
This school has brought out only the best in my daughter. She loves all her teachers and it's clear they love and respect all of their students. They set simple boundaries and expectations in gentle ways, for example my daughter had a habit of spilling things or throwing things when she was done with it and they helped work with her to put things away properly and to communicate when she was done. This is truly the best place to send your littles if you want them to grow up in a calm, child led, aesthetically pleasing classroom. My daughter comes home singing new songs all of the time and brings all the art she makes too. I could not be happier with the services this school provides.
The school follows traditional Montessori practices. The facility is clean and outfitted with age-appropriate materials to aid in the children’s learning. The staff are caring and patient and communicate clearly with parents. Our personal situation changed so we were not at the school for long, but our son had a great experience here!
