Parent Reviews
I have been so disappointed lately with Clifton KinderCare. It’s sad because both of my kids seem to really like it there - my son has finally started adjusting. The classrooms are nice, they have fun activities, provide meals, and even have outside time. The kids get sick often - not by fault of the daycare - something completely out of anyone’s control. But what I have run in to issues with here is staffing issues. It seems like every week or every other week they are asking parents to volunteer to keep kids home due to being short staffed. My husband and I both work full time jobs and don’t have anyone to watch the kids - hence why we needed a reliable daycare! Now today, I’ve had to keep them home as they closed my daughter’s classroom due to staffing issues. I was under the impression they had hired more employees to resolve this issue but it seems to be an ongoing problem. It’s starting to cause issues with my job - missing hours, having to leave early, or having to call out, etc. I don’t want to have to move my kids to a new daycare and start all over in a new place but unless things change, and they become more consistently reliable, I really have no choice for the sake of remaining employed. Overall I’m just very stressed and very disappointed. Not to mention - my mom (who was on the pickup list) picked them up for us last week. Only one teacher asked for her ID in my daughter’s classroom, I don’t believe she was ID’d for my son’s. She said no one seemed to know what they were doing, there was no sign of my daughter’s pacifier or her lunchbox we use to bring her bottles back and forth. They gave my mom all of my son’s bags even though the teachers should have known we keep those there for extra snacks and a change of clothes. They even sent her home with all of the snacks that my husband had just brought in for my daughter the day before to keep there. She left feeling very unorganized and once she called us, I think I stressed her out even more when I questioned all of that. Just not how pick up ever goes for us and I was surprised and frustrated that my mom had a bad experience just trying to get my kids.
KinderCare is a wonderful place for children. My daughter Ziyu likes KinderCare a lot. The teachers at KinderCare are very responsible, and they care about children.
