Parent Reviews
My husband Shane and I cannot speak highly enough about the West Aurora KinderCare Center. The atmosphere is one that invites learning, and the staff is exceptional. Our daughter has thrived since she began attending the center, which has become her second home. Sylvia was only four months old when we first brought her to KinderCare. We are first-time parents, and full-time teachers; this transistion was both exciting and terrifying. Leaving her in the care of strangers was unnerving. Even knowing that they are all highly qualified to care for her. We were a bit anxious, but hopeful that we had made the right choice in child care provider. Now just over two years old, Sylivia has moved on from the Infant Classroom, passed the "Waddler" Classroom, completed her time with the Toddlers, and is currently blossoming into an independent and outgoing little girl in the Two's and Three's Classroom. Not only is she learning new things every day, she is also clearly happy to be there. This is evident through the hugs she gives the staff at morning drop-off, and those she gives on her way out each day. It is clear in the way she asks for her favorite teachers by name on the way to school, or says her classmates' names while pointing to characters in her favorite bedtime stories. All of these people have become her family, and are incredibly important to her. The extraordinary staff have given Sylvia a safe environment in which to grow and develop, while facilitating and encouraging this growth. They have not only taught her academic skills (shapes, colors, etc.) They have also taught her right from wrong, and instilled in her manners and a sense of responsibility. I see this each day in her behaviors at home; thanks to the KinderCare staff, she is one easy going, polite little kid! I am so grateful for the KinderCare staff, and all that they have done to help Sylivia to become the amazing little girl that she is today. They are an important part of who she is, and we could not be happier with what they do for her each and every day.
We began with KinderCare when our daughter was six weeks old and she has been there full time ever since. She is now two years old. We can't say how happy we have been with KinderCare and the Staff! The part that interested us the most was the curriculum that started in the Infant room. It was very important to us that our daughter was being taught on a daily basis and we can tell every day that she is learning new things. We also love the Discovery Preschool program in the two-year-old room and the optional music class. Even as a two year old, our daughter comes home and talks about what she did in "school" that day. I love that we get to take home the music from class and she can sing and dance to it during our "bedtime dance parties." We cannot recommend KinderCare enough. It has been great for our daughter and our family.
All three of my children have attended KinderCare centers since they were of age to do so. My experience at the KinderCare on Constitution has been exceptional. In the Infant classroom I never hesitated to leave my children with Ms. Lois as she created the perfect "home away from home" atmosphere. She gave the love and affection that my children needed while I was at work. Ms. Christine in the Toddler classroom was the perfect teacher to aid in the transition to the "school day schedule". Christine provided a great balance between the care giving and the learning aspect of their day. In the two-year-old classroom Ms. Claire has fostered a fun, music-filled classroom, where learning is not only evident in the classroom, but in the conversations that come home each day. Ms. Tari and Ms. Julie in the Preschool and Prekindergarten classrooms are the perfect combination to take the curriculum to the next level and assure that each child is ready for Kindergarten. My son has also participated in the Phonics program at the center and has made incredible strides in his writing and literacy comprehension. He has been able to read to me since before his fifth birthday. This is a testament to the program and all of the teachers who he has had the opportunity and privilege to learn from. Overall, my experience has been a great one, from the teachers and management, to the friends my children have made. I can't imagine our lives without the experiences that they have had and those yet to come. I would recommend this center to anyone looking for care in the area.
