Crespi Carmelite High School is a Catholic, all-male college preparatory high school founded in 1959 by the Carmelite Order. The school uses brain-based, research-driven strategies for teaching young men through a partnership with the Gurian Institute for Educational Excellence, and is a member of the International Boys' Schools Coalition. Graduation requirements exceed the minimum UC and CSU entrance requirements, and students may pursue Honors and Advanced Placement courses beginning in ninth grade. Typically, 98% of graduates go directly to higher education, with 85% attending four-year colleges.
