We have loved our time at Discover! My daughter who often has a hard time separating runs into school each day, eager to see her friends and teachers. She even cried on the snow days because she was so upset that she had to miss it. Her teachers are child-centered and plan activities and lessons that are engaging and based on children’s interests. They seem to really be invested in the learning that they are facilitating each day as well as the relationships between the children. They display the children's artwork through the school, classroom and at Memorial Library in town, which is so nice to see on our weekly library visits! They have great student:teacher ratios which is a huge bonus. My son (19 months) is eagerly awaiting his turn to be a student at Discover and we are looking forward to many more years of fun!

I looked at eight different Preschools when deciding where to send our oldest in 2016, and Discover Preschool stood out for its small nurturing environment and commitment to learning through play. We are in the final months of our sixth year with Discover due to our two children attending back to back. We were able to receive daily feedback from teachers about their day and participate in many of the ways the school provides for the Discover families to come together in and out of the classroom. Both kids were excited for each day they had Preschool and we always felt they were being well cared for by the teachers, engaged in quality experimental learning, and prepared for Kindergarten. It’s a wonderful preschool!

Our family is incredibly grateful to have found Discover Preschool-between moving and covid-we weren’t having luck finding a school that could accommodate two of our sons at the same time. When we found Discover we were so happy(my oldest asked if he could come here too). We look forward to coming to school and seeing our friends and teachers! The school is play-based, but there is so much learning that happens-which is exactly what children need at this age. My youngest especially has made strides in improving his speech (which was severely impacted because of covid distancing) with the help of his teachers. They were incredibly helpful during our transition from Early Intervention. The director and teachers are incredibly hard-working and trustworthy. I feel very comfortable leaving my children because I know that they are in a safe environment. Looking forward to being here for the next couple of years.
