I always recommend Dream Big Little One Piedra Family Daycare to my friends and family. I toured about 15 preschools/daycares in the Burbank/Glendale area and this was on the top of my list. It is on the higher side for tuition but for good reason. The daycare is STEAM based and the kids actually do developmentally appropriate science, technology, engineering, art and math activities. It’s also Bilingual, English and Spanish. As a former preschool director in Northern California it was extremely important for me to be able to enroll my daughter into a daycare that provides her with a thriving environment with loving people but also with people I feel I can trust. We have been there since January and I love it. Everyday, I get pictures and explanations texted to me of what my baby is doing at school, the communication is seamless. I couldn’t have asked for a better daycare situation honestly. My daughter loves her teachers and classmates. They have years of experience in the ECE field and even incorporate yoga, dance, and mindfulness into their routine. It’s a very clean and organized place. Every morning during drop off there are tons of activities already pre set for the children to enjoy for the day that ties into their theme for the week/month. The communication with teachers and parents is seamless as well… I have never gotten a short answer or had to wonder how my baby’s day was because they are very thorough! You really notice the difference with DBLO Piedra Family Daycare and other centers/daycares in the area. It’s easy to see how dedicated the daycare is in terms of ensuring a safe, exploring, thriving, developmentally appropriate place they provide for the kids in their care. Just like I highly recommend to my circle of family/friends I would highly recommend to all you parents as well.
