Parent Reviews
My daughters have always been watched by my mother, so transitioning to a day care was so hard for me being that my motherly instincts took over and I wanted the best care for my baby girl. I moved to Lansing away from my family and no longer had that option of my girls being watched by my mother so I had to do some research and find the best care for my little one and East Lansing KinderCare is by far the best place I could ever ask for, my baby is so loved and treated like one of their own, Kristin and all the other ladies there are the best. Going to work and doing the things I have to do for myself has never been so easy knowing that my girl is being well taken care of being taught so many new things. I receive projects and realize the growth of my little one on a weekly bases and feel so blessed to have found this day care. I would suggest East Lansing KinderCare to anyone who is having a hard time finding a place for their child.
I was such a nervous new mom leaving my daughter at daycare when she was just 6 weeks old. All the staff in the infant room at Kindercare were incredibly compassionate and took great care of Charlotte. She continues to thrive there and her little face lights up when she sees Kindercare staff she recognizes.
via KinderCare.comOur daughter has been at East Lansing KinderCare since she was about eight-months-old. She has excellent experiences in both the Toddler and Infant programs! Unfortunately our little one has some unusual allergies and has also had to have routine breathing treatments. The Center Director and her teachers have always paid special attention to these issues, consulted with us, and made us feel very welcome with our special medical requests. The language our child brings home is astounding to us. She also learned great social skills already as a two-year-old! The teachers are caring, creative, fun and loving, yet firm in enforcing rules and safety precautions. My daughter absolutely loves to go to "school" at KinderCare. We love the safe, educational, nurturing, creative and inspiring environment and all of her teachers, and she loves exploring, practicing new skills and the fun! I am a former teacher and really have high standards about the educational aspect of care and would recommend this facility 100+% in that regard. Couple that with the wonderful people and personalities that are her teachers, the organization of the center, the special events including picture day, parent/teacher conferences, holiday events, nature hikes, water day each week in the summer, and more and we are very, very happy!
We have had our two children in several different daycares. Most of the centers had education objectives and gave a great presentation when viewing their centers. However, education development was not taught and the centers were more a play center. We moved to East Lansing and looked into KinderCare, event though we thought it would be like the other centers we have experienced. Instead of a play center, KinderCare has been the best. My children are comfortable here. My son only does before and after school care, and my four year old is in the prekindergarten program. My youngest has developed writing skills, understands the days of the week, learns about the weather, and animals and brings home art work and activities that she did that week. I get a daily report everyday and I know exactly what she was doing all day. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly with great teachers and director. The place is very clean and my children a rarely sick. Their play area outside is set up well with plenty of room. My daughter looks forward to Fridays, which are show and share, because she can bring something from home to share with her classmates and teachers. The meals are well-rounded with a good variety. Everything has been great; I highly recommend this center.
