Federally-funded preschool for low-income families offered by Economic Improvement Council. Program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten and features the Creative Curriculum. Play-based curriculum focuses on intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development and includes literacy, math, science, social studies, technology, and arts. Other activities include dramatic play, computers, blocks, sand & water play, cooking, and time outdoors. Children develop social skills and build friendships. Organization offers health and other social services to families.
