We are so grateful that our friends recommended Carolina and El Gato con Botas to us. We have had a wonderful experience since our daughter started over a year ago. Our daughter adores Carolina and her friends and loves going every day. The daycare is clean and organized, it is set up beautifully with a variety of toys and games and a cozy and safe space for nap time. Carolina provides wholesome, home-cooked meals and snacks, she takes the kids on daily outings to the park and around the neighborhood, she creates fun and engaging activities with music, art, and pretend, sensory and motor play. El Gato con Botas also provides a rich language environment with full Spanish immersion through communication, songs, books, food, and other cultural experiences. Carolina has great communication with families, including daily updates and photos, sharing reports on our daughter's growth and development in different areas, and she responds quickly to all of our questions or needs. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend this daycare to other families!

El Gato con Botas is a warm, welcoming, incredibly high quality daycare. Carolina is exceptionally knowledgeable, fun, and committed to excellence. I was always amazed by her energy and ability to create enriching activities for my daughter with new toys and special activities for all ages. My youngest was with Carolina from 6 months to almost three, and my daughter still says she wants to be with Carolina and that she misses her (it’s bittersweet!). Carolina is also flexible and open-minded, which made communicating with her about our preferences easy and comfortable. We miss El Gato, but are immeasurably grateful to have had Carolina as part of our lives.

Carolina and Alcira are two of the greatest caretakers I have had the pleasure of interacting with in San Francisco. My younger daughter has been in her care for nearly a year, and I cannot express how grateful I am to have found them. Carolina is the owner and she is one of the hardest workers. She is kind, nurturing, an amazing chef, patient with the babies, and thinks about their every need. She replies immediately to inquiries, and sends us many pictures throughout the day. Her communication is perfect. She not only has created a beautiful, safe space for the children, but she even goes above and beyond and provides weekly developmentally appropriate activities and takes them outside in the sunshine so they can play every single day. I have never been so confident about a daycare! Also, the daycare is small, so my daughter gets personalized attention. She adores them both and cannot wait to wave goodbye to me when I drop her off in the morning. While Carolina has had this specific location open for about a year, she has been working with children for many years, has her own, and is very experienced!

Carolina and her mother Alcira have been wonderful caretakers to our infant son. They are both very caring and nurturing and are very invested in his development and happiness. Since starting at El Gatos con Botas, his days have been filled with baby exercises, developmentally appropriate toys and games, and walks to nearby parks and baby activities. We’ve had a wonderful experience all around and highly recommend!
