Ms Ely is the BEST. She understands that every child is different and treats everyone with care, kindness, and acceptance. Ms. Ely has a way with the kids and everyone loves and respects her. Her home is clean, she cooks fresh meals, and loves all children as if they are her own. Her family has become a part of ours. Any child will be well taken care of in the care of Ms. Ely. She changed our life and made it better with her love and care for our daughter.

Initially we placed our daughter in a larger, chain daycare and we struggled with issues of neglect, constant sickness, and inflexible policies. We were so nervous and distrustful once we decided to look for a new place to care for our daughter during the day. However, from the second of meeting Ely we knew where we were meant to send her! Ely is so attentive to every child in her care. Each day I am met with exactly how the day was and what they did. She truly loves every child like her own. From her homemade meals to her holiday photos she like to take, I can see every day that my daughter is more than adequately cared for. Since coming to Ely's our daughter has barely been sick. She keeps the house SO clean it amazes me! Lastly, Ely is a great communicator and is great with working the hours/days a family needs and understands that needs change over time. I could go on forever... really! Ely is great and I can't say enough good things about her!

Trusting someone to take care of your children can feel impossible, they are what make my world go round. Coming to Chicago I knew no one and had to overcome that challenge. Elizabeth made me feel so comforted from FaceTiming me to show me her home and welcoming my son with open arms. We were only in town for 2 days but at the end of that time my son was sad to not be coming back. Each time I come to Chicago I will no doubt trust her to provide loving care for any of my children. She is a hidden treasure that I am so happy to have found!

Ely’s Daycare has been a God-send to our family for the last few years. My son started going around 14mos for about 2yrs and now my two sons go sporadically for care when I need back up care. Ely shares updates and photos of the kids activities throughout the day. I appreciate that they go outside and do fun indoor activities too. She is responsive and flexible. There are young babies all the way up to 4/5yr olds, a great option for the littles in your life.

Our son attended Elhy's daycare from 3 months until about 2 years old. Elhy was so good with him. She spoke Spanish to him so some of his first words were in Spanish (I loved that!). He always loved her food- especially her soups. He looked forward to going to her house and playing with kids. When his preschool shut down due to Covid, she took him back with open arms. It was so hard to take him out again. She is very flexible with schedules. She is fantastic.

Elhy has been wonderful, both before and during the pandemic. We are essential workers, so we needed care the past two years. Our big kid learned all his letters and numbers, potty trained, learned some Spanish, and became friends with the other kids. Our new baby is starting soon. Elhy did cloth diapers with our big kid which makes me super happy. She is also magic and can get the kids to do things at school I can’t do at home (like nap in the middle of the day, or eat certain foods- my soup is “wrong” because it isn’t the way it is made at school). My big kid is ready for preschool and the new baby is already asked about and cared for. We are very happy with our school.

We love Miss Ely! She is fantastic. Our daughter has been going for over a year and half and started at 3 months. She gets a big smile on her face everyday when Ely opens the door. She loves the other kids and is super comfortable in the environment (more like she walks around like she owns the place!). Ely is a great partner for us - she's great with kids, really easy going, flexible and knowledgable. We really trust her to do what's best for our daughter. She really cares. We would highly recommend her to our friends and family!

Ely's daycare is FANTASTIC. When I was looking for daycare for my (then) 9 month old, I was scared of leaving her with someone else. I was so relaxed after meeting Ely, and my daughter has been there for almost 3 years now. My daughter asks every morning if she gets to go to "Ely's house." She's learning so much and has lots of interaction with other kids, Ely, and independent play. I absolutely recommend Ely for anyone looking for a responsive, fun daycare. My daughter eats a wide variety of foods in part due to Ely's great food she provides. And covid has been a breeze compared to others I know!
