My little one started at Estrellitas when he was 6 months old. We are a bilingual home but primarily speak English, so we wanted our baby to be immersed in Spanish first. We found several places in Portland, but they were either large childcare centers or small ones without Spark certification. We expanded our search to include Washington County and found Estrellitas. Our first visit she explained the learning environment and that children are taught to be responsible for cleaning and being kind from an early age. The daycare takes a collaborative approach of working with parents to teach us how to support our children’s development. As my baby grows, I see him develop habits from what he learns at daycare & we reinforce at home: he shares toys with other children, puts things away when asked (most of the time), doesn’t push/fight in the playground, and is overall very kind. I can’t say enough to recommend this place!
