Parent Reviews
I have two kids at Guidepost South Beaverton. My older one came from a different campus where he got almost no attention, due to teachers and staff managing the harmful behavior of other students. Since starting here in a Children's House class, he has learned so much; it has been such a great experience to see him thriving. My youngest started in the Young Toddler class and is now in a Toddler class, and has also had an amazing experience. She has multiple serious allergies, and the teachers are very careful and take her needs seriously. We have been happy (and relieved) to find a safe and happy place for our kids to learn and grow.
Our daughter has blossomed over the past year at Guidepost! It is a wonderful, welcoming and small environment for little minds. All staff are qualified and truly care about the well-being of your child. If the the cost is prohibitive, they offer generous financial assistance.
My daughter is in the young toddler program and we are so happy with her care and our experience at Guidepost! My daughter has only been under care with family or a nanny, so I anticipated the transition to be rough. Thankfully her Guides have ample experience and are so patient and caring. Now my daughter loves school and excited to see her friends. Somehow she naps longer and better at school, transition out of a sleep sack to a blanket, and started using an open cup. I am amazed at her progress! Her classroom follows Montessori principles and she truly has thrive and gained a lot of independence. My husband and I receive tons of cute photos and updates of our daughter's day. It is so comforting to know your little one is in such great hands.
We are SO THANKFUL we found Guidepost in South Beaverton. Not only is the location extremely convenient as we often “stroller” our way to and from school, but we are seeing a real change in our daughter’s development and learning! She has added more words, signs, and skills. She quickly weaned off of her sleep sack, blankie and paci at naptime and she has transitioned from a bottle to an open cup. That leap felt HUGE as our daughter was primarily fed with an NG tube until 8 months old and had entered the daycare setting with still some issues around feeding and weight gain. Guidepost listened to our daughters individual needs and was able to help guide and transition her to become more independent all around!
