My son attended Happy Nook from age 10 months to 2 years. In that infant stage, my most important criteria for his care was that he was loved - and at Happy Nook, he was - in spades. During daily check ins it was clear that Priscilla and co. genuinely knew and cared for him and loved watching/helping him reach new developmental milestones as much as I did. I am so appreciative of the personalized care he received - and how easy it was to focus on my work/day knowing that he was in attentive and excellent hands. I also loved the amount of socialization that he was able to experience, forming lasting bonds with the other children; the amount of outdoor play that Priscilla’s home allowed - and the indoor toys/activities that kept him busy and happy; its convenient location; his early exposure to Spanish; that he always had healthy meals and snacks; the list goes on. I’m forever grateful for finding Happy Nook when I did and for the time my son spent there.

My son started attending Happy Nook soon after turning one. It was a very stressful process looking for reliable daycare that wasn't impersonal and we knew immediately upon touring that this was the place for us. Priscilla is extremely warm, communicative, and goes above and beyond to provide special care when needed. This place truly checks all the boxes with a beautiful grassy playspace, variety of organic meals, small group size, and fun play-based learning. Her own young children are a part of the group and I see that she cares as much for the happiness and well-being of the other kids as her own. My son is excited to attend every day and adores Priscilla's aids as well. The neighborhood is quiet with ample street parking that makes dropoff/pickup very easy. I appreciate that the exterior of the house doesn't advertise to the public as a daycare, which helps me feel quite safe. I would highly recommend Happy Nook to anyone I know with young children.

Our family has been with Happy Nook now for a total of three years — with our first attending from 10 months until he started Preschool at 3 years, and our second from 6 months (and still there). I don't think I'll ever be able to put into words how grateful I am to have found Priscilla and her wonderful daycare. Happy Nook offers a variety of age-appropriate toys and activities, a fantastic grassy backyard directly off the indoor playroom for lots of outdoor play, healthy home-made breakfast/lunch/snacks throughout the day, and lots of 1:1 attention for the kids between Priscilla and her team of incredible, long-standing helpers who our kids adore. Priscilla is well-organized, loving and kind, responsive and easy to communicate with. The home and kid spaces are immaculate and well taken care of. Our kids thrive at Happy Nook, and we're completely at ease while they're in their care.
