Gretchen has been so incredible with our son since he started at Happy Trails around 6 months old! She is incredibly kind, super responsive whenever my son is uncomfortable/sick/teething, and goes above and beyond to comfort him based on his individual needs. Gretchen truly loves each of the kids at Happy Trails like her own, to the point where sometimes my son won’t leave her side when I come to pick him up! My son has already learned so much from her style of teaching and observing the kids of varying ages, especially learning from the big kids! Gretchen also makes the kids very healthy organic meals and snacks that my son loves!! One of my favorite aspects about Happy Trails is the amount of outdoor time they get each day (multiple hours)- my son went from not loving the outdoors to begging to play outside 24/7 (rain, snow, or shine!). The group is also such a tight knit community that really supports each other, and as a first time mom I have found the other parents to be incredibly helpful and generous with all of the advice! I will be sending all of my future children to Happy Trails and would recommend it to anyone! My second child just started at Happy Trails too and is already having the best time!
