Parent Reviews
We interviewed many daycares while searching for the right place for our son, but we knew immediately that Harmony House was the perfect fit. Finding a daycare you fully trust with your child is priceless, and we truly hit the jackpot with Amber. The love, care, and patience she pours into our son every single day is so genuine and heart melting. He absolutely adores her and genuinely loves being there. They do such fun daily activities with the kids, and you can truly see how much thought and care goes into helping them learn and grow. One of the things I appreciated most was that our son learned some words in sign language there, which made communicating with him so much easier before he started talking. It was such an amazing tool for both him and us as parents. Not only is he loved and cared for, but the meals and snacks provided are incredible! It gives us so much comfort knowing he’s being nourished with healthy, thoughtful meals throughout the day. There is truly no better feeling than knowing your child is safe, loved, and being so well cared for while you’re at work. Our son looks forward to going every morning, and as parents, there is nothing more comforting than seeing your child so happy and excited to be there. We are beyond grateful for Amber and everything she does for our sweet boy.
Harmony House has been a wonderful fit for our family. Our daughter started there at 6 months old and has done really well in the warm, home-like environment. Amber is caring, professional, and easy to work with. We especially appreciate the healthy homemade meals, the focus on independence, and the attention to safety. She also keeps a very small 1:3 provider-to-child ratio, which allows for a lot of individual attention and care. It’s been a very positive experience overall.
We enrolled our 2.5-year-old after being upfront about some typical toddler behaviors, including occasional pushing, and were reassured this would be supported. The environment is calm, clean, and the small group size is a plus. However, after only 5 days of attendance, we were told he could no longer return due to behaviors that were consistent with what we had previously discussed. We were surprised by the lack of ongoing communication or opportunity to work together before that decision was made. We were also given less than four hours’ notice that it would be his last day, which was challenging to navigate as working parents. While the provider did share helpful observations after the decision, this information was provided when we specifically asked, rather than communicated proactively. Since transitioning to a different setting, he has been doing very well with minimal issues, reinforcing how important the right environment and support are at this age. This may be a better fit for children who start at a younger age, as the program specializes in ages 0–3 and our child was on the older end of that range. Families may also want to clarify expectations and communication practices upfront.
Amber is amazing! She puts so much care into each child and it shows! Our daughter would leave her home happy and well cared for. She does such a great job of incorporating developmentally appropriate child-led play, while still providing the structure that littles need! We are so grateful for our time with her and know that any future families will be too ❤️
We absolutely love our daughter’s childcare! Amber uses the Montessori method, which has made such a positive difference in our child’s independence, confidence, and learning. She is incredibly caring, patient, and attentive to each child’s needs, and it truly shows in how comfortable and happy our daughter is every day. One of the things we appreciate most is that she provides fresh, home-cooked meals, which gives us peace of mind knowing our child is eating healthy, balanced food. Our daughter’s development has progressed so efficiently because of the age-appropriate toys, books, and learning activities Amber provides. She also uses thoughtful language and communication with the children, which has helped our daughter’s vocabulary and understanding grow so much. We are so grateful for the loving, structured, and nurturing environment Amber creates and highly recommend her childcare to any family looking for quality care and education for their babies or younger child.
We LOVE Amber at Harmony House. She goes above and beyond to take care of each child and truly loves what she does. Amber makes homemade meals that are specific to each child’s age and lets the child explore different food options. She has several age-appropriate Montessori toys available for children to play with and explore through independent play. You will not be disappointed with your child’s care, especially with low ratios (1 adult to 3 children), when they are at Harmony House with Amber. Our family couldn’t recommended her more!
We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Harmony House. From the moment we met Amber, I knew we had found the right place for our daughter. I was initially drawn to the low child-to-caregiver ratio and the Montessori-inspired approach, but it’s been so much more than that. Amber has been incredibly supportive and attentive. She truly treats our daughter with care and respect. Ava has absolutely thrived under her guidance and always lights up when we arrive. Amber has also been amazing in helping us through milestones, especially with baby-led weaning. It really feels like a true partnership in our child’s care. Amber’s background in child development is clear in everything she does. I’ve always felt confident and comfortable knowing Ava is in such experienced and nurturing hands. Harmony House has been such a positive and enriching place for our family. We’re so grateful for Amber and her thoughtful, loving care!
