Description provided by the business.At Heritage Children's Academy, we believe that all children are special and deserving of a stimulating learning environment that enables them to explore their surroundings at their individual pace and skill level. HCA believes that children learn best through interaction and exploration with adults, other children and materials. Our teachers provide numerous opportunities for hands-on choice activities and situations relevant to the child's own life experiences. Our teachers are chosen with the individual classroom and children in mind. All members of our staff meet or exceed the qualifications mandated by the state of North Carolina. In addition, the teachers complete an orientation program and attend continuing education programs. Heritage Children's Academy also provides two professional development in-service days each year.
