Description provided by the business.Hilma's Daycare is affiliated with the B'Above network. At B’Above, we believe children’s play provides the foundation for academic or “school” learning. Play is the “work” of young children; we believe that young children learn best by doing and that parents are children’s primary teachers. Our mission is to provide developmentally appropriate experiences to children in a safe and stimulating environment so that they can develop the physical, social/emotional, language, and literacy skills needed to succeed in school and become lifelong learners.

Parent Reviews
The beginning was kinda cool , expect the complaint about my baby every single day of work. I even use to pop up through out my work schedule to assist. A little short over a year I wasn’t sure if my baby was coming back to the daycare because i recently moved my address. But as September got close I changed my mind an my baby voucher does not expire it don’t have an expiration date at all so I wanted her to stay here at this daycare . And the provider and above network told me I have to find some where else for my baby to go because they accepted another kid, now all sudden they don’t deal with ACS vouchers and they can’t control who the daycare lady let in or kick out , I’m not sure how this possibly if my baby is enrolled already!! But yup we got the boot!! . (( My baby was the only African American baby in this daycare as well)) . So I guess we didn’t fit this description to be here. And I informed my provider I might loose my job behind all of this a they gave no care in the world. So I kept call the director a she said she will help look for another place/ school. Although this is frustrating I pray I find another place after all. The teacher can switch at any moment, license or not. So your kid will get to know the providers family. I don’t think that safe because not everyone fit to deal with kids. When dealing with a toddler you suppose to show happinesss I didn’t feel neither entering to drop my baby off or picking her up. And I had to get to work to get my bills paid so, I felt I was begging god to look out everyday. I’m a young mother just tryna keep a job and ensure my baby. The provider had family members in the daycare as well so I’m guess maybe another family member coming an they swap my Bby. Like how do you boot the only African American in the place ?
