Parent Reviews
The care that Miss Leah gave our son from 6 months to 18 months old exceeded our expectations and we still cherish it today. She truly cares about each and every one of her students and she is attentive, caring, warm, responsible, communicative, and intentional. She focuses and prioritizes their development and we attribute much of our son's early milestones to Leah. He thrived there and she fostered an extremely strong bond with him and with us and he also made strong friendships with his peers. She does a great job at making the children's time at her daycare educational but also very fun! Home Montessori was the first daycare our son attended, and knowing I could leave him at such a young age under her great care was the biggest peace of mind as a first time mother. I appreciate Leah and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a daycare for their infants or toddlers! Thank you, Leah!!
We absolutely loved our time with HOME Montessori School. Our daughter attended for about 2 years and she thrived! We only left because we moved too far away to continue going. The director, Leah, is patient with the kids (and nervous parents). She comes up with creative projects and lessons and she really does move at each child’s pace. It’s a small group so she is able to give individual attention to each child. She’s communicative with parents about their child’s progress. We can’t recommend Leah or her program enough! 10/10 recommend!
I’m thrilled to provide a review of the Home Montessori where my daughter had the privilege of spending a short but memorable time. From the moment we stepped into the school, it was evident that this was a place dedicated to fostering a love for learning and nurturing young minds. One standout feature was the remarkable attention to detail throughout the entire facility. The classroom and outdoor learning space was thoughtfully designed, creating an inviting and stimulating environment for the children. Each corner seemed to hold a purposeful learning opportunity, and it was clear that a lot of effort had been put into creating a space that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also conducive to learning. Ms. Leah, the teacher who left an indelible mark on my daughter’s brief experience, truly deserves a special mention. Her commitment to providing thought-provoking Montessori activities was apparent in every aspect of the curriculum. The activities were not only educational but also tailored to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in the young learners. It was heartwarming to see my daughter come home excitedly talking about the various activities she had engaged in during the day. What stood out even more was Ms. Leah’s ability to make learning fun. Her passion for teaching was infectious, and her creative approach to education transformed seemingly mundane topics into exciting adventures. My daughter’s enthusiasm for attending preschool skyrocketed after every interaction with Ms. Leah, a testament to her remarkable teaching skills. As a parent, I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my daughter’s initial exposure to education. The school’s dedication to attention to detail, thought-provoking Montessori activities, and the ability to make learning an enjoyable journey is truly commendable. My daughter’s time here might have been short, but the impact will undoubtedly be long-lasting. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Leah for her exceptional dedication and commitment to nurturing young minds.
My three year old son attended HOME Montessori for a summer session and really loved his time there. It's a small school, which allows for a good amount of personal attention while still affording kids the benefits that come from peer interaction. The director, Leah, is very kind-hearted towards the children and teaches them to be gentle and respectful with each other. The curriculum is thoughtfully organized and the projects that the kids work on are so fun and creative. Leah also encourages the kids to develop (age-appropriate) self-sufficiency. My son learned so much in the short time he was there. I highly recommend this school to all parents looking for a high quality, home-based educational program.
My son went to Leah’s Home Montessori school for 2 years since he turned 2. We had a positive experience all along. Leah is caring, kind and creative. It gave me a sense of peace leaving my son in her care knowing how much he is loved and enjoys school! Leah is very clean and organized, she gave timely updates about the development of the child and gave helpful advice when needed. I strongly recommend Leah’s home school to anyone looking for a small home based Montessori for their little one.
I found Home Montessori to be an excellent introduction to a “school” environment. Leah takes children younger than most Montessori schools, and was helpful in the potty training period. My child thrived in the environment Leah created. There is a varied curriculum each month, gently introduced. Different concepts are reinforced in a variety of way. The small school size allows individualized attention, meeting each child where they are. Leah is soft spoken and a very kind teacher. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for an enriched learning environment.
