Parent Reviews
Hi! My name is Angela or as everyone knows me as at Horizon’s, “GiGi!” I will try to be “brief” however those who know me and now the teachers, etc now know that is almost next to impossible for me … I tend to write a novel, or at least another chapter to add to it!! 🥹😀 My little girl (great-niece) has been attending Horizon’s since the beginning of June, 2022. She is now 19 months old and this was her first time in a daycare situation. I think it took her longer to adjust for some personal reasons, nothing to do with Horizon’s or anyone working there, however I completely understood this. All the teachers were so patient with my sweet girl, they worked with her while not taking any time away from the other children. I am so proud of how far she has come in trusting others outside of her home and also how much she is learning and growing! Every teacher I have met has been so easy to work with, pleasant, and most importantly, the children are comfortable with them and respect them. Since attending Horizon’s, I have noticed such a difference in my baby girl! She is learning so much so quick! Everything from behavioral to learning to say her teacher’s name, learn “head, shoulders, knees and toes,” and other body parts, (among other important lessons for her age!), learning to stay in your chair when eating … little and big things that I have been teaching and working on at home with her but the reinforcements that she is getting at “school” have been excellent! I’m sure all daycares do this, however, do the teachers teach with love, patience, etc? These are qualities I find important. Also, they are very flexible, when they can be, with the parents and what may come up in our lives. My great-niece’s teacher has been so awesome with her. You can tell she loves her job and all her “babies” as she refers to them!! 😊 I will finally close with Horizon’s is a qualified daycare/school with positive, well educated teachers who will, in my opinion, take care and teach your children as you would expect and as you would do at home. -GiGi
