Jamie’s is such a fun spot for my child, not only is he thriving with new words, he’s starting to sing and dance but the amount he has learned so far being there for almost a year at his age is so awesome, there is so much he has learned, colors, shapes, numbers, animals, letters, just meeting those milestones means the world, it’s just a great environment for kids his age. Couldn’t recommend it more!!

After searching the area for people we felt comfortable with and meeting Jamie there was no question we made the right choice. Our little one loves going daily and we’ve noticed his confidence and speech thrive. She is very responsive to parents thoughts and questions and clearly communicates with plenty of notice. We enjoy the artwork that comes home and being a part of her supportive community through holiday parties and celebrations!

We have had two kids in Jamie’s care for the last 3 years and counting. Jamie’s Little Village opened in 2021, though Jamie has been an educator for 20 + years. Jamie’s commitment as an educator is further reflected in her willingness to open her doors during a pandemic, when so many closed. The small provider to child ratio at her daycare allows for individualized care and promotes strong relationships amongst the kids and Jamie. The small class size means less germs during cold and flu season too! Jamie holds appropriate policies for when children are sick in order to keep everyone as healthy as possible. She keeps her indoor and outdoor spaces clean and organized. During the day, Jamie emphasizes the importance of play, while fostering learning and growth through outdoor exploration, music and movement, art making, and circle time. Jamie is knowledgeable about childhood development and provides age appropriate toys, activities, and daily routines. Jamie is wonderful about keeping a consistent schedule and making the village a safe and predictable space for kids to be themselves. Jamie is excellent when communicating with caregivers and keeps them informed via a private Facebook page and texting. Jamie’s daycare hours are conducive to working caregivers and tuition reflects the time and energy invested in the kids. The kids have an absolute blast while at Jamie’s and her ability to evoke joy and connection is endless. Jamie knows how to make each kid and each day feel special, especially birthdays and holidays. Jamie herself is warm, welcoming, and fun. The children absolutely adore being in her care. Jamie is a constant source of positivity and comfort, even on the toughest days. Jamie invests so much time, energy, and love into each kiddo in her care. We saw so much growth in our son during his time with Jamie and he was more than prepared for his transition to preschool. Leaving the village was a sad day for all. Jamie is a second mom to our kids and the village is a second home for them. It takes an incredibly special person to open their home to care for strangers. We are forever grateful for Jamie and everything she has done for our family. We highly recommend her as a daycare provider.

Our daughter attended Jamie’s Little Village for 2 years before transitioning to preschool. Jamie provides excellent care, effectively communicates with families, offers a Facebook page to see pictures of your child and the activities they have engaged in. I feel like she prepared my daughter for the transition to preschool. A month in to preschool and my daughter is still asking about Jamie and when will she be able to go back. We love Jamie’s Little Village!

Jamie does so many activities with the kids from colors, shapes, circle time, arts and crafts and learning body parts. Her daycare is in a good neighborhood, where the kids go for walks. She has a fenced in backyard for the kids to play out side and get fresh air. I like the fact that she's open early for parents that work in the morning. She has 22 years or daycare experience, from center based to now owning her own daycare.

We have had the pleasure of sending our son to Jamie’s daycare for the last 2 years! She treats him like her own. He’s learned so much while in her care. He’s known his ABCs and could count to 20 since before he turned 2 and all of that credit goes to her. He comes home happy and excited to tell us about his day. On the weekends he asks if he can go to Jamie’s! We are really happy that she’s the one caring for our son while we’re at work. We know he’s in great hands. I highly recommend her as a daycare provider.
