I have a child with SPD and ADHD. I was recommended to send my child to daycare by her OT when she was 2. Kaylyn does not consider her business as just a place for kids to go during the day while mom and dad work. Kaylyn's house is for kids to learn, explore, and grow. She includes not only the typical preschool skills in her curriculum but also adds in her own expectations and really puts her kiddos ahead of the curve. Kaylyn has a deep, knowledgeable understanding that she is bringing your kids towards being successful people not just getting them to Kindergarten. For discipline, Kaylyn implements trauma-informed and emotionally progressive care to help the child fully understand what they did wrong and how they can fix it. She does this with compassion and understanding and allows the child to explore their own emotions and encourages them to take control and accountability of their actions. My favorite thing about Kaylyn (other than the fact that I know my kids are safe, happy, well-fed, and loving school) is that she always has so much faith in my kids. She always says things like "there is no such thing as a bad kid," and "cant is not in our vocabulary." My toddler regularly reminds me that "it's okay you're still a good mommy," and "DON'T SAY CANT! YOU CAN DO IT!" She teaches kids to believe in themselves and to be strong, confident leaders. If you're struggling at home with a behavior, she provides insight and RESOURCES to correct of requested. Kaylyn loves both your kids and your family endlessly. I know I really ranted but in this scary world we are in Kaylyn provides a safe space for our most vulnerable population. Her business is her pride and joy. Your kids achievements are her achievements. She leaves no kid behind.
