Parent Reviews
Our 22 month old daughter has progressed so much in the three months she has been there we are so delighted. Our 5 year old-after being at this KinderCare only, enrolled last September in St Philomena Catholic school. She not only blew out the entry test, she continues daily to demonstrate her advanced reading and math skills. This entire school year, with a weekly spelling test she only missed a combined total of FIVE words, mostly due to wandering mind (she spelled "if" ef). How many 5 year olds can spell leprechaun, gingerbread or thanksgiving? How many know to, too and two- and the meaning of all three? Mine can, and she is in advanced math and reading. Is she smart? Sure. But where did she learn? Kennydale KinderCare
Good afternoon! I write you as a parent of two toddlers that attend the Kennydale Kindercare under the care of Lanette Tapia and her team. My husband and I are busy professionals with little time on our hands but wanted to take a moment to express our sincerest appreciation for the leadership Lanette has brought to Kennydale Kindercare since her arrival to this facility. It seems to me that more often than not people take the time to launch complaints rather then send compliments and I can't think of time better spent than to tell you what wonderful care our children are in. Lanette and her team have created a second home for our children and because of their support, our kids are prospering in a way we could only hope for. The staff at our Kindercare love our children and it shows ... they care for them like a family member would and again, it shows. Lanette has expectations for her staff that translate to clean classrooms, happy kids, and consistency in the care our children receive. Each week we know what to expect and that consistency for two working parents is integral to the success of our little family. I am certain you know what an asset Lanette, Ronna, and Jayme are to Kindercare ... but I wanted to reiterate it. They are just wonderful. They are professional and our babies could not be in better hands. I won't labor on ... but please know that from a parent perspective, you scored when you hired these women. Kindly, H Family
Our family has had both of our children in the Kennydale KinderCare facility for the past six years. We have been very pleased with the facility, the teachers and the curriculum offered there. Last year, our five-year-old daughter participated in the Kindergarten program during the school year as she missed enrollment by three months. The program was beautifully laid out with Kindergarten curriculum and the classroom was just like you would see in a traditional school setting, not like a daycare. The “smart board” teaching method was loved by my daughter which allowed her to interact with the curriculum and her classmates in a fun environment. The kids participated in science experiments, reading, math, theme weeks, writing, and much more throughout the year. The program was extremely organized and it established a great routine for my daughter. Routine is the number one thing most children have a hard time adjusting to when entering Kindergarten for the first time. Recently, my daughter started Kindergarten in public school. Five of the students from KinderCare are in her class and the teacher took time out of her busy day to write me a note saying how impressed she was with my daughters reading skills. She’s reading at a second grade level! She also made mention that out of all of her students, the KinderCare graduates were hands down the most prepared, well acclimated kids in Kindergarten. This made me really happy as a parent—to know I made a great choice and investment in my child’s education.
